What your signature says about you. Each signature reflects the personality of the person who signed it. Let’s start by understanding what an ideal signature is. Maybe not the finest.

Following are the ideal signatures.

  1. Use First Name and Last Name or Last Name and First Name. Avoid using only initials
  2. Initials must be capitalized for first and last names
  3. As shown below, your initial letter should be 2.5 times taller than your other letters.
  4. Always use Underline for full signature. It will increase your confidence and leadership qualities
  5. The signature must be ascending (Uplift)
  6. Signatures must be larger than normal writing.
  7. The signature must be heavy pressure
  8. Avoid using any dots between the words.
  9. Don’t overlap any letters

When we say we’re changing the signature. There’s no clear way to change the signature in real life, so everyone gets resistant. All legal documents such as PAN CARD, BANKING, and all other agreements must be updated.

Following the process which has to be followed

  1. Defining your signature
  2. MOST IMPORTANT:- You have to get your subconscious mind used to your new signature first. It’s time for your subconscious to accept this as my signature
  3. You should practice your signature 50 times a day on plain paper until you can’t do it without a hassle
  4. Use your new signature on documents that don’t require legal advice.

I had to change my signature at a bank. I have all the listed documents, including a lot with the sign I wanted. On a stamp-paper of Rs. 50, I was told to print the following:

I, [Name], Son/Daughter of , Aged Years, Residing at
__, hereby solemnly affirm and state on the oath as follows:

1. I, hereby declare that I am a permanent resident of __ and is presently residing at the address give above.

2. That I am the holder of account no: __ of the [Name of Bank and Branch].

3. That while opening the account, I had provided my Specimen Signature which has changed/altered by passing of time and as such does not tally with my present signature.

4. That I have requested the [Name of Bank] to register my new Specimen Signature on record, which is affixed hereto and shall hereafter be my signature and also to cancel/delete the signature provided by me at the time of opening the aforesaid account.

5. That I hereby affirm that I shall not hold the Bank in anyway responsible for any consequences that might occur directly or indirectly on account of the Bank acting on my request herein stated by replacing the signature(s) in the Bank's records and for the consequences acts /deeds by the Bank and I affirm that I shall indemnify the Bank in case of any resultant loss.

That this affidavit is drawn to be submitted before the [Name of Bank and Branch] for my signature verification.

I hereby state that whatever is stated herein above are true and correct.
