What is Navagraha Mantra?

As per Hindu mythology, a person’s life is decided by the horoscope, and the basics that help the astrologers to predict it is based on these 9 planets known as navagrahas. It is believed that as the planets change their position, a person’s life also changes and may cause good or bad effects. However, it is believed that invoking the Navagraha mantra can bring changes to the hardships. Navagraha mantras are auspicious hymns or Mantras that act as powerful healing tools that stabilize the adverse effects of the planets in our lives. These play a vital role in determining the physical and mental condition of a person. Ved Vyas has written the navagraha mantra to please the planets and it is scientifically proven that chanting mantras will bring down the negativity in you and the surroundings. Also, chanting the mantra, wearing gemstones or rudrakshas can bring good fortune to peoples’ life. Navagraha mantras have holistic power that brings peace to the planets. The movements of the nine planets influence your daily life. There are times when people face bad luck, failure, illness, and many other unfortunate incidents.

The direction, time, rosary and Sankalp during Navgraha chanting:

Take one-time resolution before casting any spell. Use the specific direction, time and rosary (See below table). Use a Rudraksha chaplet or particular gemstone’s rosary of the particular star. Such as pearls rosary for the Moon, coral rosary for Mars. Keep your place, time and number of chants the same for every day. Finish the recitation within 40 days. If you choose a Beej mantra to be recited, then the number of recitations should be more than mentioned in the below table.

Surya Maharaj

Surya Maharaj or the Sun is considered as the Light of Wisdom.

The symbol of the sun is a circle with a dot in the center. The circle shows its manifested existence and the dot is the point of creation. It is the largest of the planetary bodies.

If the Sun planet is auspicious, but weak in Kundali, or whenever native has very low confidence, weak body or bad relation with the father, Surya mantra should be recited. This is the Surya Beej Tantric mantra, which should be read 28000 times in 40 days.

Moon or Chandra Maharaj

The Moon is known as Chandra or Soma and is considered as the Light of Devotion. It is believed that Chandra nurtures life with its soothing cool rays.

The Chandra Maharaj Beej spell, which should be recited 44000 times in 40 days, if the Moon is weak in a horoscope or during the mind instability or bad relation with the mother.

Mangala Maharaj or Mars

Mangala Maharaj or Mars is known as the bearer of welfare. Its characteristics include determination and will power. It is the executive power after Sun among the celestial bodies.

If Mars is auspicious, but weak or inauspicious but strong, Mangal mantra can help. The Mangal Beej chant, which should be read 40000 times in 40 days.

Mercury or Budha Maharaj

Mercury or Budha Maharaj represents the Emblem of Intelligence. He represents intelligence, ambiguity and remains unaffected by materialism.

Whenever Buddh Graha is weak on the natal chart, or person facing problems during transit of Mercury, the Buddh mantra remains hopeful. However, if the Mercury is low on the birth chart, chanting cannot not help. This is a Buddh Beeja incantation, which should be recited 36000 times in 40 days.

Jupiter or Brihaspati or Guju Maharaj

Jupiter or Brihaspati Maharaj is the “Guru of Gods.” Due to its massive size, it is also referred to as the “Spirit of the vast.”

Jupiter considers always auspicious, so if Guru or Jupiter is weak in the Kundali, or native facing problems in the study or reputation in the society, the Brajaspati mantra Jaap remain helpful. This is Brahaspati Beej chant, which should be read 76000 times in 40 days.

Venus or Shukra Maharaj

Venus or Shukra Maharaj is the emblem of love and attachment. Even though its also called ‘Guru of the Asuras.’ He is the karaka of all worldly pleasures. It is the karaka for wealth and marriage in the lives of the people. Relationship with female folks primarily our spouse is controlled by Venus.

If Venus is auspicious, but weak in the natal chart, or during bad transit of Venus, Shukra chanting remains beneficial. This is Shukra Beej mantra, which should be recited 64000 times in 40 days.

Saturn or Shani Maharaj

Saturn or Shani Maharaj is also known as the Lord of discipline and control. It portrays the path of truth and honesty. Shani is also the most feared planet in Astrology.

Shani considers as cruel Graha, so if Saturn is inauspicious but strong, or during harmful transit, Shani mantra remains good for natives. This is a Shani Beej incantation, which should be recited 92000 times during Shani’s transit.

Raahu Maharaj

Raahu Maharaj is the commander of the direction and is referred to the North Node of the Moon. This celestial body causes eclipses and is a shadow entity. It is a manifestation of material pleasures and worldly desires.

The Rahu considered always cruel. During transit of Rahu, the person should chant the Rahu mantra, whether Rahu strong or weak in the horoscope. This is Rahu Beej spell, which should be recited 72000 times in 40 days.

Ketu Maharaj

Ketu Maharaj is the ‘South Node of The Moon’ and is the presenter of obstacles. It is the celestial body of outwardly desiring.

The Ketu Graha is cruel also. During transit of Ketu, the person should perform Ketu mantra Jaap. This is the Ketu Beej spell, which should be recited 68000 times in 40 days.
